As an anti-racist, restorative, and community-based organization, CRC is dedicated to financially supporting community members to train and apprentice as mediators to support productive conflict resolution in their own communities.

Scholarships are open to all applicants regardless of sex, age, race or ethnicity, nationality, or religious background. CRC works to build a representative mediator pool and takes this into consideration when awarding scholarships. In addition, CRC considers the following factors when awarding scholarships:

  •       Awardees must reside in Minnesota.
  •       Awardees must have financial need.
  •       Awardees must have interest in and ability to volunteer at CRC.
  •       Fluency in a language other than English is strongly preferred.

We typically have more requests for scholarships than our funding provides for, but we work to include as many as possible by requesting that each applicant participate financially in a small way, whatever that means to them. In the event that we cannot provide a scholarship for you, we are happy to speak with you about payment plan options which may enable you to participate in our training program.
