Happy Holidays – chances are over the next couple months many of us might hear someone shout, “Hey! You’re a mediator! You help us figure this out!” while eating dinner with family members. When, if ever, should you mediate disputes between family members – formally or informally? And what level of engagement constitutes mediating? In this session, we’ll take a look at both the applicable ethics rules that might impact your decision to enter or exit the conversation as well as the practical concerns that come with conflicts of interest when our professional and personal lives collide.
